Rimfire Challenge — Light River Rifle Club

Join Light River Rifle Club for the Rimfire Challenge, open to Production Class (PC) and Production Class Open (PCO) rimfire rifles

Time: 9:30am sharp
Venue: Lower Light Rifle Range
Entry Fee: $20

Course of fire: 5 minutes of unlimited sighters on the sighting target, followed by a short break, then 5 minutes to fire 25 scoring shots on Rimfire Targets at approximately 110 metres (5 strings of 25 shots).

Ammunition: .22 Rimfire (short, subsonic, hunting and target) only for PC & PCO classes. .22 Magnum and .17 HMR are permitted in their own respective classes. Competitors must supply their own ammunition.

General match rules: All competitors shoot from the prone position. Bipods (Harris, Atlas or similar) and rear sandbags are permitted (F-Class bipods and machine rests excluded); bipods may not be placed on the shooting mat. Specialist shooting mats and ground sheets are allowed. Any sight may be used, including magnifying/telescopic optics up to a maximum of 25x magnification.
